Flos Chiara Floor Lamp
In 1969, Mario Bellini invented Chiara, a lamp delivered in a flatpack, made of a single sheet of stainless steel that the user had to roll up and bend to give it its final cylindrical shape. Flos have re-released the Chiara Lamp, modernised for the 21st Century by Mario Bellini himself. The reflective body of the Chiara Lamp series is composed of aluminium. Its hooded shade has a white internal surface and emphasised with a contrasting coloured edge. Brightness is adjustable through a dimmer switch.
Architect and designer Mario Bellini has received the Golden Compass Award eight times and 25 of his works are in the permanent design collection of the New York MoMA. He has designed countless art, design and architecture exhibitions over the years all across the world.
