Santa & Cole Babel Table Lamp

The Babel Table Lamp was originally designed in 1971. Made from alabaster, a material rarely used on its own, its individual crafting means that no two lamps are the same. The striking combination of material and scale create a spectacular, tactile centrepiece.

Àngel Jové has had a diverse career as an actor, author, professor, interior designer, illustrator and painter. He was introduced to the world of architectural design by Santiago Roqueta to contribute his talents to household objects including the Babel and Zeleste Lamps.
