Artemide Chimera Floor Lamp

The rippling curves of the Chimera Floor Lamp create a fascinating interplay of light and shadows through its opal methacrylate structure. Originally designed in the 1960’s, Artemide has re-released this lamp as part of its Masterpieces collection to allow a new generation to appreciate and embrace the exquisite design which has remained popular for over 50 years.

Architect, town planner, and designer, Vico Magistretti had a long and illustrious career. His architectural works can be seen predominantly in his birthplace of Milan and he collaborated with some of the most influential and important companies in the field of Industrial Design. Some of his designs are included in the permanent collections of the MOMA, New York, and of 13 American and European museums.
