The Edge Lamp has the appearance of an ice cube melting into the wall or ceiling. Its simplicity enables the luminous cube to adapt to any style and it is available in 2 sizes; Edge 21 and Edge 30. Its IP65 rating allows the Edge Lamp to be used outdoors and in high moisture areas.
Alessandro Mendini was born in Milan. Having trained as an architect, he took up a position as editor-in-chief for a succession of magazines; Domus, Casabella and Modo. His work inspired his involvement with design studio Alchimia, creating a fairy-tale world of objects, furniture, prototypes, industrial products, paintings, writings, interiors and installations. Critically acclaimed, Mendini has work in a number of museums and private collections worldwide.
