Artemide Empatia Table Lamp


At the heart of the Empatia Lamp there is a high performance LED light source encapsulated within hand blown Venetian glass. Transparency and opacity are carefully balanced to produce a glare-free, reflective light.


Paola Monaco di Arianello was born in Genoa in 1982. She studied design in Genoa, Lapland and Milan. She has collaborated with Carlotta de Bevilacqua since 2008, working within the field of lighting design.


Carlotta de Bevilacqua is Vice President & CEO of Artemide and President of Danese Milano. An entrepreneur, architect, designer, and teacher, she has dedicated the majority of her life and career to exploring and advancing innovation in the field of light.
