HAY Pao Steel Pendant Lamp

The Pao steel shade is named after the soft, glowing shape of traditional Mongolian Pao tents. By keeping the aesthetics modest and simple, Fukasawa creates a beautiful everyday object that is in harmony with its environment. The light source is concealed from view within the shade, resulting in a clean and simple design with no visual intrusions. The pendant’s shades are available in different sizes and colours.

Naoto Fukasawa founded NAOTO FUKASAWA DESIGN in 2003. Renowned for designs that express the essential nature of objects, he works with leading global brands and serves on MUJI’s design advisory board, is art director of Maruni, and works across fields ranging from electronics to furniture and interiors.
