Marset Fris 215 Wall Lamp

The design of the Fris lamp series includes a glass tube that encases the light. Uniquely, the glass not only protects the light, but also provides a mechanical function, suspending the whole system and allowing the lamp to rotate and the light to be steered in a certain direction. The multi-purpose design of the lighting system allows for a combination of several units in different sizes and positions, each one aiming its own beam of light. Other options are available upon request through Paperrooms, including hooks, canopies and unions which allow multiple lights to be combined and hung in a variety of compositions on walls and ceilings. Joan Gaspar studied industrial design in the school of Artes y Oficios in Barcelona. A major collaborator with a variety of lighting manufacturers including Marset, Santa & Cole and Vilagrasa, he has been awarded prizes for his Atlas and Neón de Luz lamp collections.
