Marset Pleat Box LED Pendant Lamp

The Pleat Box is the result of the first collaboration between Xavier Mañosa (a master ceramicist from Barcelona), the Mashallah design studio in Berlin and Marset. The idea behind the Pleat Box is a sophisticated combination between a digitally designed crease in a piece of cloth and a silhouette that is applied to a ceramic base.

Xavier Mañosa is one of the most up and coming ceramicists of his generation. He works from his family workshop, located in an old industrial estate in Barcelona. His work explores new forms of expression whilst experimentally combining materials for a unique and bold design.

Berlin based Mashallah is an interdisciplinary studio fascinated by the poetry of art and technology. Established in 2008 by Hande Akçayli and Murat Koçyigit, the studio follows a free and experimental design approach.
