Nemo Bird Table Lamp

Created in extruded aluminium with T-shaped support in polymer filled with glass fibers, the Bird Table Lamp has a thin and linear appearance. It is composed of a protruding matt black painted arm where the light source is located and a vertical brass counterweight. The lamp, placed freely on the edge of a surface, oscillates and moves but always returns to the horizontal position. The LED module incorporated in the arm rotates around its own axis, making the lamp versatile providing diffused direct and indirect lighting.

Bernhard Osann was born in Augsburg and has run his own design studio in Hamburg since 2014. He studied at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg. He experiments with physical laws and geometrical shapes to find new unconventional solutions to simplify objects.
