Nuura Apiales 9 Pendant Lamp

Sofie Refer took her inspiration from flowers when desiging the Apiales chandelier collection. The lamp arms unfold like flower stems from a specially designed canopy to distribute a soft diffuse light from mouth-blown glass orbs.

Sofie Refer opened her Copenhagen-based lighting design and production company soon after graduating from the Danish Design School in 2003, Refer + Staer. Her simple, streamlined designs have garnered her numerous awards, appearing in the private and commercial sector, such as restaurants, hotels and nightclubs worldwide.
