Oblure Superwave Pendant Lamp

The Oblure Superwave is a striking contemporary pendant light by Notchi Architects, inspired by the ever-changing movement of the sea and translated into a sculptural, geometric wave form. Its distinctive slatted diffuser is designed to provide comfortable, glare-reduced illumination, while integrated uplighting casts a soft glow onto the ceiling, creating a greater sense of space.  Superwave combines bold Scandinavian design with practical functionality and is particularly effective above a dining table or kitchen island. Available in colours including white, lilac, peach pink, turquoise and yellow, it can also be customised in a special finish, making it as much a statement design piece as it is a functional light.

Notchi Architects is a multidisciplinary Swedish design studio based in Gothenburg, founded and led by architects Oscar Gillkvist and Carl-Magnus Elander. The studio brings together architecture, interior design, furniture, art and visual arts, working collaboratively across different scales and contexts, from private residences and interiors to exhibitions and public projects. Their approach explores the relationship between objects and the spaces around them, creating designs that combine strong architectural form with practical function. This philosophy is particularly evident in their lighting designs for Oblure, including the Superwave, where sculptural form, spatial presence and carefully controlled illumination come together.
