Santa & Cole Basica Minima Bateria Portable Table Lamp

Created in 1987, the Santa & Cole Básica Lamp heralded a revival in natural, warm materials, spring boarding Santa & Cole into the international market with its modern looks and beautiful craftsmanship. Its shade is balanced perfectly by its birch wood column and heavy metal base in metallic bronze. The Básica Mínima Bateria Lamp is a pocket sized version of the original Básica Lamp, with the additional feature of being fully portable with battery life of 7 hours on high power and 14 hours on minimum. Battery charging time is 5 hours. The lamp should not be left outdoors permanently to prevent degradation. 

Chiefly responsible for promotion of Catalonian design in the late 20th Century, Santiago Roqueta was an interior designer, industrial designer and artist. In the 1990's Roqueta proposed to Santa & Cole to set up an unprecedent coediting relationship, in order to promote the knowledge on Spanish design masters

Formed by the individuals who are co-workers in Santa & Cole’s editing department, and led by the editors, the Santa & Cole team is responsible for the design of the company’s own products.
