&tradition Topan VP6 Pendant Lamp


Originally designed for the hotel and restaurant Astoria in Trondheim, Norway, the Topan was the first mass produced light by Verner Panton. The shade is spun from a single piece of aluminium by highly skilled craftsmen and suspended from the ceiling with a textile cord.


Verner Panton studied at Odense Technical College before enrolling at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen as an architecture student. Famous for his cardboard house and Panton chair, his popularity and influence continues through his iconic, colourful and playful designs.

Matt Black, Vermilion Red, Grey Beige with matching textile cord or Chrome Plated with Black textile cord.
