The Tizio desk lamp was designed by Richard Sapper for Artemide in 1972. This modern classic, instantly recognisable and featured in the Metropolitan Museum of Art and of the Museum of Modern Art, has adjustable counter-balanced arms that can be adjusted in any direction and position. Two parallel arms are used to conduct electricity to the bulb meaning a novel lack of wires. There are two light settings to adjust the brightness.
A smaller version of the Tizio desk lamp is also available.
