DCW éditions In The Sun Table Lamp

Designed by Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost, the In The Sun table lamp pays tribute to the Sun King through its radiant light and intricate shadow play. Featuring a five-position switch for adjustable light intensity, it creates a warm and atmospheric glow that enhances the surrounding space. Like a luminous jewel or candle, the lamp embodies the refined and decorative spirit of the In The Sun collection.

In the work of Dominique Perrault, mesh becomes both a structural and poetic material — rigorous yet immaterial, capable of shaping light, space, and atmosphere. Together with Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost, he transformed this distinctive material into luminous architectural elements, most notably through the lighting installations created for the National Library of France. Their designs explore the relationship between form, context, and light, creating powerful objects that merge architecture, technology, and emotion.
