DCW éditions In The Tube Wall Lamp

Crafted from borosilicate glass with brass or stainless steel mesh, this versatile lamp can be installed as either a wall or pendant light using a dedicated accessory. Its integrated LED light source, mounted on an aluminium profile, delivers a continuous 360° illumination across the full length of the tube. Combining technical precision with refined materials, the design creates a striking balance between functionality and atmospheric light.

In the work of Dominique Perrault, mesh becomes both a structural and poetic material — rigorous yet immaterial, capable of shaping light, space, and atmosphere. Together with Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost, he transformed this distinctive material into luminous architectural elements, most notably through the lighting installations created for the National Library of France. Their designs explore the relationship between form, context, and light, creating powerful objects that merge architecture, technology, and emotion.
