Fritz Hansen Silhuet Pendant Lamp

Fritz Hansen have released the Silhuet Pendant Lamp to commemorate Danish designer Jo Hammergorg’s 100th anniversary. Characterised by its warm brass finishes and soft lines, the shade includes Jo Hammergorg’s signature and a 100 year tag on the inside.

Jo Hammerborg studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and worked as a silversmith at Georg Jensen. In 1957, he was hired as chief designer at the lamp manufacturer Fog & Mørup, where he worked until 1980. During his lifetime he created over 180 different designs of lamps, several of which received international awards.
