Santa & Cole La Colilla Pendant Lamp

The La Colilla Pendant Lamp is a low energy light fitting. A translucent two metre tube houses the small neon bulbs which provide the illumination. Hanging from a delicate thread, it has an appearance of floating in mid air.

Carles Riart, borned in Barcelona in 1944 has recently recieved the National Design Award 2011 as a recognition of all his work. Riart is an atypical case in Spanish design, due to his peculiar interpretation of tradition and his introspective attitude.
