For his solo exhibition at the Basilica Palladiana in Vicenza, Álvaro Siza designed Lorosae. A timeless design featuring translucent glass in different pure and brilliant finishes, while the white inner part of the diffuser preserves the natural colour of the light.
Born in 1933, Álvaro Siza graduated in architecture in 1955 at the University of Porto. He has taught at some of the most prestigious academic institutions during his career and collaborated with architect Eduardo Souto de Moura on the flagship pavilions of the Expo in Lisbon in 1998 and in Hanover in 2000.
