Gubi Stemlite Wall Lamp

The Stemlite lamp collection was conceived in 1962, uniquely replacing the traditional lamp stand and base with a single unit. Its organic curves are sympathetic and tactile, its slender stems appearing to grow from the base. The full collection of Stemlite includes wall, pendant, floor and table lighting solutions.

Credited with developing the first ‘total look’ lamp forms, Bill Curry was a leading American designer in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Inspired by an era which was constantly evolving with pop culture and the space race at its fore, he translated his ideas into a clear, visual narrative.
