Lightyears Kaiser idell 6718 Wall Lamp

The Kaiser idell is a true Bauhaus design classic. Originally designed by Christian Dell in 1931 it has a handpainted lampshade with patented swivel joint. Its design today is as relevant as ever with its modern high gloss and matt lacquered finish and chrome plated elements.

Christian Dell was a German designer and silversmith. Having worked in the metal workshop in Bauhaus in Weimar, he began to design the Kaiser Idell in 1926 which incorporates a family of pieces including floor, table and pendant lamps.
