Cecilie Manz is an award-winning Danish designer renowned for her refined, minimalist approach and strong focus on functionality. Born in 1972, she studied at the Danish Design School and the University of Art and Design Helsinki, and has designed furniture, lighting and objects for leading brands including Fritz Hansen, Muuto and Lightyears. Her work is held in permanent collections at institutions including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and Designmuseum Danmark, and she has received numerous prestigious design awards. For Solae, Manz combines precise geometry with practical functionality, creating a portable light that is both elegant and intuitive to use.
