Fritz Hansen Concert Pendant Lamp
The form of the Concert Lamp is reminiscent of its designer Jørn Utzon’s greatest work, the Sydney Opera House. It comprises of 4 acid treated glass shades and a parabola of drawn steel. The pendant distributes a soft, non-dazzle light both from the bottom and from between each glass shade. A statement shade, its design is a perfect balance of form and function.
Jørn Utzon is arguably Denmark’s most famous architect of all time. In developing his designs for Lightyears, he worked to ensure that light constantly promotes the atmosphere of a room, whether it is used for cosy togetherness, for a particular function or for sheer inspiration.
