RUBN Monroe Spot Ceiling Lamp

The brass and opal glass sphere of the Monroe Spot Lamp sits within a metal stem. To accompany the widely dispersed illumination of the globe, a spotlight is suspended from the bottom of the fixture to provide a direct, down light. Its simple curves and lustred finish provide an understated opulence.

Niclas Hoflin is the designer and maker behind RUBN lighting, the Swedish company that combines a history of manufacturing craftsmanship with contemporary design. In his 30s, Hoflin worked with celebrated Danish designer Ole Palsby and his work is now realised in the work of RUBN.
