DCW éditions Poudrier Wall Lamp

Like a powder compact or a precious case, Poudrier reveals its reassuring simplicity through the mechanical gesture of opening and closing. Light is diffused through a thick glass pane while a polished brass flap, mounted on a visible hinge, acts as a pivoting mirror that manually controls the intensity of the light. Originally designed for the bathroom, this intimate and tactile luminaire brings warmth and character equally to hallways and entrances, with each piece carrying its own unique fingerprint.

Philippe Nigro is a designer of objects, furniture, lighting, interiors, and scenography, living and working between Milan and Paris. After studying industrial design and graduating in applied arts from the École Boulle in Paris, he began his career alongside Michele De Lucchi before founding his own studio. Collaborating with international artisans and publishers, he develops projects that bring his ideas to life through objects, architecture, and scenographic design.
