Santa & Cole Lamparaprima Table Lamp

Designed to rest on a desk or hang from a wall, Lamparaprima consists of a metal rod supporting an LED tube, encased in a rotating visor-like shade. By bending and twisting a clothes hanger, Pete Sans came upon an ingenious and expressive solution that would become his first commercial lamp.

Pete Sans began his career at the crossroads of art, craft, and communication. After working with architect Josep Pratsmarsó, he enrolled at the legendary Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm, but quickly realized his path was not academic. Working at Santa & Cole's given him the opportunity to bring his visions to life, producing lighting and structural pieces that strike a balance between the industrial and the sculptural.
