Gubi Aspide Table Lamp

Serpentine in shape, beautifully balanced and gleaming like a jewel, the Aspide Table Lamp is a practical piece of industrial design. The versatile task lamp can be manually adjusted to create either direct light for work or reading.

Gianfranco Frattini earned an architecture degree from the Politecnico di Milano in 1953, joining the cohort of polymath Milanese architects and designers who would drive the post-war renaissance of Italian design. Always wide-ranging, Frattini’s projects varied from furniture for the likes of Cassina and Bernini to cookware for Lagostina.
